Russell (Rusty) Penney - Senior Pastor

Rusty assumed the Senior Pastorate in 2011 succeeding Bro. Eddie Booth, upon his retirement.  He and Joann (Squires) Penney have been married for 17 years and have three children: Joseph (16), Hannah (14), and Micah (13). Rusty is a graduate of Whitney High School ('79), Texas State University, B.A. ('84), and Tyndale Theological Seminary MA., Th.D. ('99). His ministry passions are teaching, missions, and men's ministry. Joann and Rusty have a combined 34 years experience on the mission field.

Eddie Booth -Pastor of Senior Adults

Bro. Booth was Senior Pastor at PVBC since 1972.  Upon his retirement as Senior Pastor in December 2010, he assumed the responsibilities of pastoring the senior adults. He is married to the former Joyce Wise.  They have four married children: Sheri Pelham, Belinda Thiele, Paul Booth and Mark Booth.  The Booths have 11 grandchildren. Pastor Booth is a graduate of Whitney High School ('61), Jacksonville Baptist College ('63) and Stephen F. Austin University ('65).

Randy Hayes - Music Director/Worship Leader

Randy joined the PVBC staff in October 2010.  He has been married to Sheri (Ditterline) Hayes for 27 years.  They have a married daughter, Chelsei and a granddaughter, Madison.  Randy and Sheri both teach in the Whitney ISD where they are the Band and Choir Directors respectively.  Randy is a graduate of Odessa High School ('79) and holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from McMurry University in Abilene, TX ('86).

Drew Tucker - Youth Pastor 

Drew began as Youth Pastor in January, 2012. Drew and his wife Tara have been married for 9 years and they have 4 beautiful children, Elijah (8), Micah (6), Sophia (4), and Alexandria (1). Before coming to Prairie Valley Baptist Church, Drew attended Pensacola Christian College in '96-'97. He also recieved his Bachelor of Theology (2006) and Master of Biblical Studies (2008) from Tyndale Theological Seminary in Hurst, Texas. Drew is passionate for the Word of God, homeschooling, and equipping the next generation for Christ in a hostile world.

Joann Penney - Children's Director

Joann Penney is wife of our Senior Pastor. Joann is a graduate of Britton High School (Michigan; 1980), Taylor University (1984; B.S. Elementary Education), and has done postgraduate studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (1988; Biblical Studies), and Tyndale Theological Seminary (1994; Biblical Counseling). Joann has served as a missionary for 21 years in Europe and Bolivia. She now Homeschools her three children Joseph (16), Hannah (14), and Micah (13).
